Admissions

Fees, entry and term dates

No auditions, no portfolio requirement and no interview panel. What we do ask for is a conversation, because the diploma is four days a week for sixteen weeks and people underestimate that.

Entry

  • Over 17 on the first day of term. There is no upper age and our oldest diploma cohort member last year was 58.
  • No prior training or portfolio for any programme.
  • Enough English to follow a fast practical demonstration; there is no formal language test.
  • For masterclasses only: some working experience is assumed, though we do not police it.

How a place is confirmed

  1. Send the enquiry form on the contact page, saying which programme and which intake.
  2. We call you back, usually within two working days, for about twenty minutes.
  3. If it is the right programme, we send the terms and an invoice for the deposit.
  4. The place is held when the deposit clears. Balance is due before the first day, or on the instalment dates set out in the terms.

Withdrawing

Deposits are refundable for fourteen days from payment. After the course starts, fees are refunded on a sliding scale set out in the terms and conditions: full refund minus deposit in the first week, half in the second, none from the third. Deferring to the next intake is free once.

Funding

There is no government funding for private makeup training in the United Kingdom, and any school telling you otherwise is describing a commercial loan. Our instalment plan is interest free and administered by us directly, not by a third party.
