Who is the controller
Vermilla Makeup Institute Ltd, 18–22 Bowling Green Lane, Clerkenwell, London EC1R 0BD, is the data controller for the information described here. Data protection questions go to study@vermilla.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry data. Name, email, telephone, the programme and intake you asked about, and notes from the call back.
- Student records. Contact details, emergency contact, attendance, assessment outcomes and fee payments.
- Model release forms. Where a model sits for a class or the portfolio block, the signed release and contact details.
- Technical data. Server logs holding IP address, user agent and page requested.
Lawful bases
Enquiry data is processed on legitimate interests — answering the question you asked. Student records are processed to perform the contract of enrolment and, for attendance and assessment, to meet our own record-keeping obligations. Model releases are processed on consent, which can be withdrawn.

Who else sees it
Our accountants, our payment provider and the company hosting this site. Tutors see attendance and assessment records for their own cohort only. We do not sell data and we do not share enquiry lists.
Photography in the studios
Classes are sometimes photographed for the school's own use. Anyone can decline, and declining has no effect on your place. Images of models are only used where the release covers that use.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion where we are not obliged to keep the record, restriction or portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to us; we reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies
This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookie is a session cookie that remembers whether you have dismissed the term-dates banner.
